NF is great however, the area around the falls is a total tourist trap. While I don't recall a Starbucks latte hitting $10, the Denny's and the TGI Friday's are OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. Denny's standard breakfast was $15CAD (not including coffee) and TGI Fridays - their large bar drinks were $15CAD and meals ranged upwards of $40CAD (for one person only). Big difference from the TGI Friday's in the US. And I doubt they would take the Goldpointsplus card given these are not your standard TGI Fridays (menu was smaller than US locations). FWIW, the Denny's in the "non-tourist" zone, i.e. Lundy's Lane, sold the same breakfast for $6.95 or something and was advertised as "cheapest Denny's in NF". If you're going to stay here, I would highly, HIGHLY recommend the Keg as opposed to the Friday's, prices are comparable to other Keg locations in Canada, the food is excellent as are the views from the restaurant.
