Precisely why I tend to avoid Homewoods. The Homewoods I have stayed at have central courtyards. It takes just a few inconsiderate owners ignoring the rules who leave the pets unattended and then the barking is nonstop. The poor little guys, a strange hotel and barking in desperation out the windows into the courtyard. The noise reverbs off the concrete, pretty soon, other dogs join in. Not a restful place...
It would be interesting to know actually how defined the policy is for Homewood. Many properties that allow pets (not necessarily Hilton Brands) ask that pets not be left alone in rooms. That is pretty bad when a dog is left alone to bark........totally selfish on the part of the owner.
