I constantly switch between Stefanie and Steffi, had neither in the old times on Lufthansa nor now on UA a problem until now.
Funny note on the side, we somehow made a screwup when my Mom applied for her KLM membership, her first name is now there listed as T.R. (first two letters of her first name), also no problem there either.
