And I don't know if there's any material difference between talking LOUDLY over VOIP and talking LOUDLY to your seatmate: They're both annoying and completely unnecessary!

Take my advise, politely ask they "offender" ONCE to "lower their voice"; if they don't understand that then say, "Please use your inside voice" and as a last resort....the ever popular "shut the f*ck up" with a smile, always works.

Your cabin mates will appreciate it - as they are secretly wishing they had the balls to do what you have just done.

I had to do this on a recent flight to Ft. Lauderdale with a family - the husband thanked me in the galley. Go figure!
