Well.. they wouldn't literally have to print out any password sheets or anything like that.

If they decide to bill everybody, the time you first try to access any website, you will be redirected to a billing site. If you enter valid credit card information, all future accesses from your computer will be allowed (based on MAC address) -- just like in hotels. I think this is the most likely scenario. Y pax will only use this service if the price is not too high, and if the price is not too high, C/F pax don't really care. Using the hotel analogy: Even in the most expensive suites you have to pay extra for Internet service.

If they decide to waive the fees for certain pax (e.g. based on class of service), they wouldn't have to hand them any printed password stubs. Instead, they could simply prompt the passenger for their ticket number, or frequent traveller number, and match that with their passenger database for the particular flight (to verify the purchased class of service).
