Kudos again to the organizers. JenBel, SanDiego1K and Wingnut have raised the Do to a new level. I've only been to one other, but this was abundantly clear. With all those people there, a first-meeting conversation with JenBel produced a "you must be Pat" when I introduced my non-FT wife. Remembering all those participants and pluses ^. Met people I've "known" for years and never seen before. The boat cruise (our only official event) was great. And the fireworks that Wingnut arranged (although the Lord Mayor of London might disagree) were fabulous.

The party contiued at the ORD FL on the return as we were all delayed (it being ORD and all). The folks I saw there were Spiff, tazi, SkAAtinSteph, TxLobo, lalala , IdealFlyer and MsEverywhere. Others were there earlier, I was told.
