THEN go see baggage agent who advises the 2½ hour (late evening) connex from IAD was not enough so he can see bags are still in SFO.

So 4 x P tagged is all lost, when you waste 30 mins waiting for the others.

This is my perpetual SYD experience. Every time. One bag out immediately, the other gone.
