You're right, the AA crew was most likely sleeping comfortably in a hotel bed somewhere. Crew scheduling is obligated to find hotel rooms for us, even if the hotel is an hour away. I would never have my crew sleeping in a airport terminal, especially if im taking a plane out the next morning.

I'm not sure if anything was going on in Indy that weekend, but maybe there truly were no hotel rooms for them to find fior you. If there were hotel rooms, and AA did not provide hotel rooms, then you deserve compensation and an apology.
