When NCW was first introduced they fitted out a couple of "show case" aircraft with 100 J seats - with WT+ and WT effectively relegated to the rear cabin only.
Travelled on one of these in December 2000.
They were subsequently reconfiged to either 38J or 70J.
I think the reason was as a "replacement" for Concorde - hence the 100 seats.
Wonder whether there will be a similar exercise this time.
