Since CA and FM are both joining Star Alliance. My question is if the heavy discount economy fares on both CA and FM allow mileage earning with partner programs like UA, LH, or NZ? I know they might allow earning with their own FFP's but I am not too sure if it is the same case with partner programs. I have got several domestic flights coming. I tried to book on a website called ctrip.com which it does not tell me booking classes. How do I know if the fares are eligible for earning? Thanks for your help.
