I've lived in DC, in NYC, and in Scandinavia. Guess which is the only one of the three that regularly hits -35 C in the winter, coupled with nice blasts of wind direct from Siberia? Winters are far colder, longer and darker in Scandinavia than anywhere in the continental US.
