I'm making my first longhaul trip in CW next month - LHR-HKG. I didn't realise when I booked that you could reserve seating in advance, so when I finally got around to it, I was only able to reserve a seat on the return flight (got the last seat on the upper deck).

Because no more seats were available to reserve on the outward leg, can I safely assume I will have a pants seat for that flight? Does anyone know how many seats are offered for early reservation? Will I still have a shout at a window seat with OLCI?
