It seems to cost 40k miles or more if using miles accrued in American carriers. Does anyone know of an airlines requiring a smaller mileage amount for this trip?

BD is 30,000 miles (or 15,000 miles + 150GBP) roundtrip.

Not sure if the following was supposed to be allowed, however, what I've done before is: India City 1 to SE Asia to India City 2 for 7500 miles + 75GBP. That was possible because I had it as a one-way award from one Indian city to another Indian city with a stopover in SE Asia.

The AA OneWorld awards priced at 35k miles could possibly allow for a DEL-BKK-DEL trip, but expect a much longer trip than ideally desirable .... unless really playing a game.
