FWIW the bus isn't likely to get stuck in the tunnel either, since the bus terminal feeds buses directly into the tunnel. The bus might get caught in traffic on the Jersey side, and going through the tunnel can be slow at peak times, but it's unlikely to suffer significant delays at the tunnel itself.
