(Yeh Radioman, I'm suggesting he scam the system...mea culpa!)

Sorry, I had to read that twice, and then I just fell out of my office chair! I think we may have corrupted Shareholder to some extent

Back to the OP's question, I would suggest that he book his extra stays/nights ASAP so these show on his file for the balance of the year, given his expiry is the end of December.

The email goes out about two months prior to expiry, so in mid-October, how many nights had he logged, and how many new bookings showed in his res bin? These may have been a factor in being advised he would drop down to AMBASSADOR next year. (Also assume this was his first and only year as RA, since those of us with two or more previous years as RAs were given a free renewal to AMBASSADOR.) In any case, do send in your $100 for a renewal even it it is only to AMBASSADOR at this stage.

Further, I would suggest that he not contact the AMBASSADOR customer service centre until late December or even early January (unless he has some IC-branded property stays in early January), and check to see that the miscellaneous activity box indicates his AMBASSADOR kit has been sent out. Then, if he's had 50+ nights during this previous RA period, then call and ask about being re-elevated to RA. If they say "yes", then he'll get a second full kit to boot!
