If ever you're on aircraft that has power outlets (A321, some A320, EMJ, the B767 as they are refrubished) and they are not working, ask the crew if they've been turned on. It might be a simple omission. Personally, I really don't mind being put back on track Not a matter of being lazy or anything, it's so simple: press on. Eventually they will be standard on all aircraft. Eventually.

It is true that there doesn't seem to be enough power provided to both recharge the battery AND power the laptop at the same time. You may choose to do one or the other and find that it helps. On one occasion I witnessed the case where the laptop that this particular gentleman was using, was simply too "power hungry".

But other than that, I think it's great that you don't have to worry about purchasing a adaptor.
