Agree! Unless I was completely stone broke I simply could not endure a transatlantic voyage on Air Transat. Sampled them once from YYZ to Cancun, and even sitting in the bulkhead row in the "premium" cabin it was a sardine can situation. The cabin crew seemed awfully young and extremely casual in their demeanour. The "food" was ..... oh, there is simply no point in talking about airline food anymore.
For transatlantic trips it's definitely BA. WT+ upgraded with miles to Club. Worth every penny, and even worth all the hours and hours I spend chasing missing miles
