And good suggestion to leave the SKL around 6:30am -- for (1) the security and (2) SIN generally runs a tight ship and leaves right on time, usually early.
Flights ex-NRT are notorious for leaving early too and they even mention that when checking in. Was on UA 838 NRT-SFO a couple weeks back with a 6PM departure and the flight left at 5:45 PM.
