So i just joined the US FF program in may, and have flown around 30000 miles since then; and a europe trip left to book for december. Average that out over a year, and its well above the threshold for GP. I have GP now from the guest fast-track program. I wrote to the US DM email asking if there was a possible way to extend my GP status through 2007...since, as i mentioned above, my level of travel matches that of GP status.

This is what US wrote back (I have to mention that they replied to my email in 30 minutes!!! Before it took 2-3 days!!) I cant decided if thats pricey or not. (sure as crap is for the whole deal...but for the upgrade?) Kinda sucks they cant forward my status through 2007; not looking forward to being silver again. Either way...interesting.
