Oh thats interesting.

I recall some quiet murmuring a while ago (I think here on FT, but I could be wrong) shortly after this year's AGM that the introduction of the space saver seats had been delayed. I think the reason was due to the reduction on capacity in CE as a result of the elimination of E seats. If true, then this sounds like a very sensible compromise.

Gosh, I hope the 757's will be receiving this treatment - those cloth seats are now looking very tatty.
