I'm glad it worked, but for future reference you can always call AA web support (800-222-2377) and have them waive the phone ticketing fee. As long as it's a valid "bug" -- something that you should be allowed to do according to the ticketing rules -- then they put a note on your PNR and transfer you to a phone rep to ticket your booking. Plus, if it's a revenue ticket they even flag the booking to receive the AA.com bonus, even though you bought it over the phone.
I've done this several times when I got problems during ticketing online. It's usually a two-minute phone call -- very straight-forward.
