Here is the problem: I am staying 2 nights (2 different properties,) one night right after the next. So, do I need to wait for one stay to post and then quickly switch earning preference to miles or do I need to switch it right after I check out of the 1st hotel and prior to the 2nd (before either stay posts)?
IIRC you need to switch right after the first stay posts.
