Just checked the PDX website - flight is departing from D14 (D Concourse) and the terminal map shows Lufthansa departing from the D gates - so connections to UA/UAX and access to the RCC will be easy.

Edited to note that there is indeed a shuttle bus that takes you from the FIS (Customs/Immigration) area to the international arrivals area in the main terminal - I suspect this is done to avoid having to rescreen passengers (which would be required if they were sent walking to the main terminal through the D Concourse)
