I have a related question:

Right now I am Gold and I have a CVG-CDG-OTP flight on December 21/22. I'm thinking about a MR before that trip, in the idea that the 5,309 EQM's from the flight to OTP should put me over the edge for Platinum. I know that sometimes it can take a while for the miles to actually post. Does that put me in danger of not getting to be Pt Elite? I mean, should I not waste the money on the MR because I may not get to Pt if the miles don't get posted in time? What do you think?
