I will be taking a trip in December that will get me to elite status. I will be traveling from Kansas City to Bangkok and will get to 25,000 miles for 2006 on the first segment of my flight (MCI-DTW). My question is will I get the 50% elite bonus miles on the remaining segments (DTW-NRT and NRT-BKK) or does the system not recognize that I am elite and will only grant actual miles.
