I did a quick calculation of the overall impact of these changes in the program (although some of the new levels like the Century Hyatt Tokyo do seem wrong) and here are some stats.
If you included Amerisuites, Hawthorne Suites, Summerfield Suites, and Hyatt Place:
- About 140 properties increased the number of points required by an average of about 4,000 points
- About 29 properties decreased the number of points required by an average of 3,900 points
- The remaining 300 properties remained the same (a large number of which are Hawthorne Suites and Amerisuites not listed as Hyatt Place)
If you DON'T include Amerisuites, Hawthorne Suites, Summerfield Suites, and Hyatt Place:
- About 74 properties increased the number of points required by an average of about 3,700 points
- About 29 properties decreased the number of points required by an average of 3,900 points
- The remaining 109 properties remained the same
