I read this forum quite regularly but had no time to post anything yet. My son is a regular poster here and refered me to this site.
Last year I accumulated more than 1.7 million status miles due to the generous First Class bonus of 375%.
I travel at least twice a month to Sao Paulo in F and do many daytrips in Germany/Europe mostly with a connection in Frankfurt.

Now my question: I called my dedicated agent at LH today and she told me that F is fully booked to Sao Paulo for quite a few days in a row. Even after switching the flight o a Boeing 747 from April on.But she told me that she would overbook F for me so that I get confirmed tickets for my dates.

Is this a standard procedure at Lufthansa or only available to Senator members?
I called the regular Senator hotline in Germany yesterday but they were not able to book the ticket.
