Thank you for this suggestion. Globetrekker PM'd me the same idea. I think we will go F on ANA from New York to NRT then F on Thai to Bangkok.
The Singapore and Thai option do not offer F-its mostly business. Singapore offers F through Frankfurt but its more miles and I understand that its very difficult to get.
