status on the boarding card (if you check with AF or KLM) is the one from the time you purchased it.
but you can ask them to re-ask the system in order to update the status
I made this with AF in IAD: first boarding pass said silver, then asked for the lounge access without gold card and she simply force the refresh and reprint a new boarding card with new status.
