When thinking about more ways to earn miles, I came across the Payback Visa Card, which only costs EUR 20 a year compared to the LH Visa Card's EUR 62 a year (unless you are in the lucky position of being a Senator, which many of you are). Anyway, if I am not entirely mistaken, it would bring the same amount of miles, since payback points are convertible 1:1 for LH miles. Of course it misses the various insurances that are included with the LH Card, but that's what makes it low cost, I guess. On the other hand, the other costomer loyalty program which just emerges here in Germany, happy digits (basically KarstadtQuelle and Deutsche Telekom), offer their CC for free... (not as many partners though)
