finally, after another hr or so on the phone, i convinced orbitz to change it for me. This time I was prepared. I already talked to Virgin, and they said Orbitz had to change it. so I got the flight numbers and the booking codes. I called orbitz, told them that virgin wasn't being able to change it because they didn't have access to orbitz's reservation system. Told them they tried, but failed as the itinerary was unable to be saved. so told her the flight numbers, and the booking codes and now i'm on VS 17. Wanted to experience the 346, but oh well. will get to experience the 343 cause i'll be flying into EWR. Looks like I'm gonna have to call up a friend so I can crash there for the night in NYC But now everything has been sorted, I need to send my paper tickets back to virgin so they can re-issue the tix. the only thing now is that they can't see the Indian Airlines flight in their system; however BA can see that flight in their system. So I don't know which kind of ticket i'll be getting from them.
