Do the F-domestic/C-international seats hurt anyone else's back?

I've been flying premium cabins a bit more lately, and I've found that I can't ever seem to really get comfortable in the F/C seats (never been in an F-intl seat). I'm not saying that they're wholly uncomfortable, but I'm a big guy (6'4") and they hit my back in a strange way, and it winds up hurting after a few minutes. I also walk off the plane with a sore back.

I tried putting a pillow behind my lower back for lumbar support, but it was only marginally helpful. Does anyone else of a similar stature have the same problem? Any tips for a more comfortable flight? Honestly, I'm more comfortable in the Recaro Y seats (but don't think I still won't be competing for the upgrades because I still like the width, service, and booze ).

p.s. The service on my LAX-ORD flight in F this weekend was superb! My glass was rarely empty, and they even accomodated my request to have the soup from one entree with the salad from another. Even though my nuts were cold and there was a piece of cork in my glass of wine, the F FAs got GTEM certs.
