Please consider (and this is not just to you, but to many who have decided to go to third party sites rather than aa.com and received no, or worse mis-, information):
AA have a program for giving miles and points for flying on their airline and partner airlines. Different miles/points are accrued in different situations, and these are all important to the program they offer (AAdvantage). They would simply have to provide relevant and up-to-date information about these programs so people would know what's going on. One may have complaints about the way aa.com works in many ways, but the information about miles, EQM, EQP, fare class, partners, is very complete and thorough.
FewMiles has done some great work. His info on challenges is still (at the moment) current. Fare information not so much. Kudos to FewMiles for what he has done, but PLEASE PEOPLE- don't rely on third party sites for information that can be no more current than that found on aa.com.
Cheers.
