Lufthansa forgot to take my departure card out of my passport when I left the USA on sunday! The card says that the "zuständige Vertreter des Transportunternehmens" (the airline) has to take it at departure. It also says that if this is forgotten I will have problems (whatever that means!) the next arrival in the United States.

I was connecting in ORD (inbound on UA) to the LH flight to MUC and got my boarding pass at the gate. I didn't check because normally I don't have to. This never happened to me before! And I have often been to the US with Lufthansa.

Now I don't now what to do? Give Lufthansa a angry call ?
