Sometimes desperate situations call for desperate measures, that's the point.
Not flaming you, but I think this is a very bad idea. You might get beaten up just for being a gay man, OR you might be "accommodated" and taken to a nightclub for gay guys, or offered a "male escort," (perhaps the "Iranian" himself) etc. None of these sound like very desirable outcomes.
