I'm sorry to hear about your accommodation, and I appreciate the heads up. I'm flying OZ later this month from TPE to LAX, and I have to stay overnight in ICN/Seoul. An OZ offered to arrange accommodation, but based on your reported experience, I'll reconsider it. My flight from ICN to LAX doesn't depart till the late afternoon, so I think that I'll splurge on a downtown hotel and hit a few of the main sites in the morning/early afternoon.
