Actually, slickalick, it was a good try, and you can't blame the fellow for trying, but methinks something is indeed rotten in the state of, well, China.

I was interested by your location line - my only trip to China was 2 weeks in Guangzhou about 18 months ago to do a systems upgrade, with a weekend trip to HK. Sadly my Rolex can't keep time, but it sure looks good. Kicking myself for not buying pearls, but by the time I thought of it there really wasn't time.

Stayed at the Garden Hotel and really enjoyed wandering the streets around there in the evenings.
