The suites in row 1 have extra storage spaces vs. the other suites so many prefer those. I always try for 1A or 2A, you are not on the galley side; however, 2A has been consistently getting pulled away from me for FAM. On the A side you can always see if the lavatories are being used. seatguru.com points out 3J as the preferred seat pointing out the minimal traffic going between the Business and First cabins at that point. 1J and 2J will have galley noise to contend with.

The only difference in meal service I have noted is dessert, usually a hot fudge sundae after dinner (vs. cheesecake offered in business). You also get Personal Video choice in First whereas you do not in Business or Economy. If you net a lot of NRSA's sharing the cabin, expect a less than focused service. There are some very good, and very poor Pursers on this run.
