I rented from Hertz at DFW this weekend and used a coupon for $15 off any weekend rental of two days or longer. This coupon came with my Gold welcome kit, and unlike other Hertz coupons I've seen it can be used with any CDP so I got a great deal (aside from the ridiculously high taxes at DFW that add up to more than the base rate for one weekend day!)

I was all prepared to present the coupon upon return, but the agent with the handheld just asked me "I see you have a coupon in your reservation here, what kind of coupon was it?" I told him that it was $15 off and he gave me the discount without asking for the paper coupon.

Is this standard practice at Hertz? I'm looking forward to using the same coupon again since it wasn't collected at DFW, but I'd imagine that other locations may be more strict about collecting it!
