Yeah lol, I was reading your replies and was thinking to myself, fraser you aren't getting he paid 1500 more than a regular WT+ ticket. But I was thinking the whole time, I just upgraded a cheap T fare from IAD which cost me little under $800.

Guess the OP didn't realize that. But I agree, if he was holding out for CW availability to open up he should have just not taken the risk, but then again he could have booked a lower fare ticket. Guess its a learning lesson.

To the OP, welcome to flyertalk, and wish you had come here before you booked the flight as we could have told you to book the lower fare.
