I still have a € 300 voucher available (from being on an overbooked flight) that I have to use (= book a flight, I think the actual flight can take place later) before 11th of February. Some questions:

1) Will I earn full miles even if the voucher covers the full price of the flight I book? I think so, because basically I am buying a ticket and just applying the voucher towards paying the price (instead of cash).

2) What's your advice on what to do with it? I want to earn as many miles as possible and I am aware of the offers at LH's website (USA specials, Düsseldorf specials), but I only have very limited time (weekend, maybe Friday afternoon/Monday morning) and I would prefer to use it to spend the weekend at a warm place. How can I maximize these two goals (miles/warm place)?

I can fly either from Copenhagen or the North/West of Germany.
