You probably were. They were probably recent alums of either UND or Purdue, and I do apologize for the behavior of the former. (Seriously. Went to UND. About 80% of the aviation majors were completely irredeemable jackasses. The other 20% were quite cool and some of my best friends.)
UND doesnt have an agreement with Mesa right now for pilots. UND grads are going to Piedmont, Horizon, Pinnacle, and SkyWest right now for the most part. Im sure that there are some UND guys at Mesa but for the most part the majority of the recient grads from UND are not going to Mesa. The mentallity around UND is that Mesa sucks; you dont see a lot of instructors beating down the doors at Mesa.
