Thanks for the responses.

Nixande - that isn't what the BA website says; I quote "Members just presenting their British Airways Executive Club card will earn a flat 250 BA Miles per stay at Four Points by Sheraton; 500 BA Miles at Westin .... etc". No mention of being a member of anything other than BAEC. I presented it at check in and check out - both staff said the same.
