Witn new 2003 promotions becoming available it might be useful to know of my experience with "Rising Miles". Once again I travelled to Singapore and received a boarding pass with a SQ number for a LH codeshare ticket. At checkin I did not remember the good advice given by Counsellor above. I asked if I could record the LH flight number at the FTL lounge in FRA, to be told the SQ flights had nothing to do with them! I returned from SIN on LH iron and received the Rising Miles bonus for that flight. I wrote to M&M pointing out that I had travelled on a LH flight number on the outbound leg and asked that I receive the bonus miles. My reply was that "this promotion was not targeted at people in the UK and that I would not receive the miles". Quite apart from the fact that I don't live in the UK , this is interesting news. The promotion was not supposed to be targeted, and the miles credit automatically, but if you miss the automatic credit then you can't get it afterwards!!!
