I am wondering if anyone out there may be able to give some ideas on what would be the best credit card or Bank Account for us to join to earn the most amounts of frequent flyer points/Miles they would only really be used for trips back to Australia.

We are currently with Qantas & Qantas Club and have the affiliated card here in Australia (those cards will be cancelled soon) but understand we will probably have to start using another Airline program to earn any real points

Thanks

= did not find it on their website, but it is really there =

Visa / Miles & More (Lufthansa)

Besides that there are possiblities to earn Airmiles (but this is a loyaltyprogram, although you can book tickets through http://www.klmairmiles.nl - the price of the ticket remains high)

Visa has several cashback (credit on your cardaccount) cards, but you can't earn miles with it.

Besides that:

American Express / Membership Rewards -> can be transferred to several airlines (for example: http://www10.americanexpress.com/sif...41,9845,00.asp)

Diners Club / Club Rewards
