If I understand the rules correctly, whereas OW and *A elite members from non-US partner airlines (e.g. BA) will get access to lounges when flying domestic, Skyteam won't even allow that, making my KLM Gold card just about useless when flying CO domestically.

OK, pedants, I know I get priority check in and boarding, but that's worth nothing to me.
