Hyatt - Johor Bahru, Malaysia

I am a Diamond member and have stayed at almost 90 Hyatt properties but this is by far the worst. I checked in around 1:30 PM and the room was not ready. This happens - I overlooked and did not even think twice about it. Lounge has dirty carpet but a nice attendant. Front desk attendants were rude and did not know how to inform a customer that the room is not completely ready. Internet charges - get this - RMB1.90 per minute but minimum 15 minutes - so to logon you have to leave approx. USD10 on the table. This is high way robbery.
My room had ocean view but the large glass window was so dirtly that I had hard time looking at the ocean. The carpet in the room was dirtly and tv was an old fashioned 15 inches one. I guess I am spoiled visiting Grand Hyatt in Singapore where it is a sleek flat screen on the wall.
Ball staff and the wait staff seem to think if they work for Hyatt, they are really something else. Rude and clueless is the word to describe them.
I have sent a note to GM this morning after I left and hope to hear from him. Glad to be styaing in Singapore now where staff is kind and willing to help.

My recommendation - DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
