When you say booked, we are assuming you are ticketed. If you have a coach seat, you cannot standby for business. This would be no different than if you have a paid coach seat - you would not be able to standby for business here either. If you mean try to upgrade, you cannot upgrade an award ticket. However if this turns out to be an 'upgrade for cash' flight, you would be able to do this.
