Hi all,

Just in YVR lounge on way home from Vancouver but I have a question - On the BA website it says I can earn 500 BA miles for staying at a Westin hotel (the bayshore in my case). However the desk staff there were adamant this is not the case and I can only earn points as a Starwood member and transfer these to BA. Any ideas which view is correct.

PS - and a quick OT rant - Had a business class AA flight from MIA to YYZ - which is surely international - and was told even with that ticket I still was not eligible to use the AA lounge at MIA. What other airline would prevent business passengers using a lounge
