I have just returned from PRG. The newly opened MO is located in a very desirable location of Mala Strana (Prague 1). I'd say that this location is more interesting than that of FS just across the river. When in PRG, I stay in a private home that happens to be a few minutes walk from the MO. Intrigued by the FF threads, I decided to pay them a visit.

Being Czech by birth and speaking the language made it easier to be offered a tour of the property. Besided the chocie location, the hotel consists of several buildings tastefully renovated and combined into one complex, taking into cosideration the architecture of the adjacent area. While inside, you get immediately greeted by the bell staff whi all speak at least English. My guide was young and a little bit shy Pavel who showed me all public spaces and the restaurant. It was late afternoon, and the place looked rather empty with more staff than guests. Again, this is a new hotel, and it will take some time before one gets the lived-in feeling.

The competition of higher-end and upscale hotel in Mala Strana is rather stiff, and there is always The Aria, another favourite of mine for tehor roof-top terrace, and many other smaller properties like the hotel U tri pstrosu next to the Charles Bridge.
